Always a Maker

You know that one thing that you are inherently great at….. The one thing that is your special sauce. For me it’s, building, making, designing, and problem solving with one of the greatest materials on the planet… Glass. It is the very weft of my internal fabric. I find that I seek out new ways to make and fabricate almost each and every day.

One of the most influential people in my life has been my mentor, fabricator, and glass artist inspiration is; Dorothy Lenehan. When working for her at Lenehan Architectural Glass, She taught me too much to list, yet I still find myself learning from her wisdom each and every day. I owe her more than I could ever tally, for the encouragement and support that she always has given me to push a little more. If you’re dreams aren’t a little scary, then they are likely not big enough. Loving what you get to do each morning isn’t a reality for everyone, but it sure is mine. I will be thanking and praising all she’s done for me until I lay down my last glass cutter……
